Alcohol, cigarettes, and weather conditions All damage the skin, taking away its natural Hydration and oils, forcing it to work harder to maintain its elasticity.
Acne is one kind of skin disorder that causes skin eruptions and inflammation in human beings. Though acne is commonly seen in all aged group, it occurs principally during the adolescence/teenage years which is called the Pimple Phase, so to speak, which is suffered or endured by nearly 90% of the young population.

The affected person can mix vinegar and salt in a bowl and by rubbing it on the pimples and soaking a face towel in it and dabbing it on the bumps for 15-20 minutes one will get good result in acne improvement. A mixture of cornflower with egg white can be used for half an hour for the removal of acne. It will also give a smooth skin. The affected person can use a mask base powder, such as fuller's earth or kaolin powder. For acne skin care one can use orange peel, mud mask, toothpaste, clove and mint honey paste etc. Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. It is used by beating the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and applies to acne affected areas.
Some people with oily skin may benefit clay or mud mask. They can use this mask for skin treatment. One of the home remedies for acne redness is common tooth paste, any brand will work best. It gives a soothing feeling on any burning sensations and help in clearing acne when used regularly.
Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All one needs is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflamed area completely. Just lying down as honey may dribble down. One must wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with warm water.
