Acne Treatment: Combination Topical Products

Acne occurs on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and sometimes on the upper arms. It is like pimples or deep lumps. All aged people are affected by it but most of the case the common face for acne is the teenagers. The affect of acne is not life threatening condition but it can make a people upset for his face. Sometimes the acne get severe and it can create permanent scarring. Scars are like spot. But sometimes the spot cannot be called scars. When it will create a permanent change then the spot will be called scars. The spots are sometimes invisible and can be visible after some days and can create discomfiture. For acne treatment combination of topical products can be used.

Combination therapy can offer a strategy for preventing resistance to the antibiotic. Its synergistic effect can prevent more resistant bacteria, as well as other susceptible acne causing bacteria, from growing during treatment. Often when a combination topical product is used, less antibiotic is needed to prevent the growth of resistant bacteria compared to the amount needed when the antibiotic is used alone. Combination products are all effective for treating inflammatory acne and include: Topical retinoid (trenoin) and erythromycin, topical benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin, topical benzoyl peroxide and clinamycin.
Topical retinoid (trenoin) and erythromycin should be applied to the affected areas once/day before bedtime after the skin has been thoroughly washed, rinsed and patted dry.

A thin layer of topical benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin should be applied to the affected areas 1 to 2 times/day after the skin has been thoroughly washed, rinsed and patted dry. This product must be refrigerated and may bleach clothing.
Topical benzoyl peroxide and clinamycin should be applied to skin that has been washed, rinsed and patted dry. This product does not need to be refrigerated.
