Acne occurs on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and sometimes on the upper arms. It is like pimples or deep lumps. All aged people are affected by it but most of the case the common face for acne is the teenagers. It is easily identifiable from the presence of the spot. The affect of acne is not life threatening condition but it can make a people upset for his face. Sometimes the acne get severe and it can create permanent scarring. Scars are like spot. But sometimes the spot cannot be called scars. When it will create a permanent change then the spot will be called scars. The spots are sometimes invisible and can be visible after some days and can create discomfiture.

But when it flattens there is a mark seen in the place for up to 6 months. After some days it will disappear. But is it is scar it will not. Some darker skinned people face the problem of post inflammatory pigmentation.

Acne are of different types. So, the treatment of acne varies. One must consult a doctor for the treatment. He will examine the skin and then he will give the type of treatment procedure that requires for the skin. Various types of treatment are needed for acne. There are home treatment process, prescribed medicine treatment, tropical treatments and oral treatment.
Lasers currently in use for acne are in the investigation phase: studies are inconclusive and the efficacy of this treatment is questionable. Overall, this therapy needs long-term follow-up and more in-depth studies with larger control groups. The bottom line is that more research is needed before this laser can be recommended to the public for the treatment of acne.
